So... I have discovered the magic that is Super Sculpey :'D I haven't sculpted ANYTHING with this stuff ever before in my life. Indeed, I haven't sculpted anything, no matter the material, since my high school ceramics class (how I loved that class though <3)

So Friday night I did my first sculpture with Sculpey. It's a full body of Duckula :'D To everyone out there who thinks I hate him, I say neener neener xD However... he did have a bit of an unfortunate accident coming out of the oven >>; His poor little head fell off and right onto the tile floor D: No worries though! His hair snapped off but it's easily glued back on (as is his head, luckily) But yeah, I'm pretty pleased with myself Actually, the thing that pleases me the most is that I was using Janet's ANCIENT Sculpey, like seriously, molding that stuff was hard as a ROCK. And I didn't use any tools xD It was HARDCORE YEAH XD

Well, the next day she was very kindly to me and bought us some new Sculpey, plus a set of plastic tools. Oh how they improved my next two sculptures! The second one, of course, was Igor :'D He is the light of my little sculpting life <3 I didn't do a full body of him, only a bust, but I am pretty dang pleased with it. His hair.... oh dear lord his hair is hard enough to draw, let alone freaking figure out how to create xD But I did it! And it has earned the Juno seal of approval :'D He and Duckula still need to be painted yet, and I'm hoping to get some pictures of them before I do (hopefully this evening!) And then some after shots when they're totally done

My third, and probably most labor intensive one to date is of Janet's Veneficus. Like Igor, he is a bust, but he's certainly much more detailed than a simplified cartoon character. Again, I'm pleased with how he turned out (though his hair... sculpting hair is a total bitch D: ) I totally could not have made him without those awesome little tools of mine, I'm lucky Janet grabbed them <3

So yeah :'D That was pretty much my awesome weekend. Not to mention having some freaking fantastic food AND getting to drink a bit <3

Now... Off to art! :'D
